In 1848, Giovanni Apa, an excellent master goldsmith, founded his workshop in Torre del Greco, a town on the Gulf of Naples at the foot of Vesuvius, which since the time of the Bourbons of the Kingdom of Naples, has been known throughout the world as a center of excellence of coral processing.

Today, the "LPM" company, heir to the founder's art, continues the craftsmanship activity respecting the passion and dedication handed down over the centuries.
